We are seeking an energetic and motivated Excavation Laborer (Plumbing Apprentice) to assist with excavation projects and support plumbing installations on construction sites. This paid position offers hands-on experience in the plumbing trade while working alongside skilled professionals. - Assist with excavation tasks using hand tools and power tools to prepare sites for plumbing installations
- Support plumbing team members by handling materials, tools, and equipment on-site
- Help with pipe threading, fitting, and basic assembly of plumbing components according to schematics and blueprints
- Maintain a clean and safe construction site by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling
- Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and layouts
- Support with basic maintenance of tools and equipment used during construction activities
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling, HVAC-related tasks, and general site improvements
- Prior construction site experience or hands-on handyman experience preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of construction plumbing, pipe threading, or mechanical systems is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and effectively
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is advantageous
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning plumbing systems and HVAC basics
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to construction tasks
