We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cannabis Processing Technician to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor processing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), to ensure efficient production flow
- Assist with packaging cannabis products in accordance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery using hand tools and mechanical knowledge
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the processing area in compliance with safety and quality standards
- Use forklifts and warehouse experience to move raw materials and finished products safely within the facility
- Perform assembly tasks related to packaging components and processing equipment setup
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of materials and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Document processing activities accurately, adhering to regulatory documentation requirements
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, or assembly is preferred
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and mechanical systems is a plus
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, CGMP practices, and industry standards for cannabis or pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly desirable
- Experience operating hand tools, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment is advantageous
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
- Previous exposure to packaging processes within a regulated environment will be considered an asset
This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and adherence to strict safety and quality standards. The Cannabis Processing Technician will play a vital part in ensuring our products meet industry regulations while maintaining operational excellence.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
