About the Role
We're looking for exceptional teachers who want to be founders of their own Flourish school. As a Founding Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of education while building a school that truly puts students first.
Qualifications
- 3 years of classroom teaching experience
- Strong track record of student achievement and growth
- Experience with community and parent engagement
- Experience with project-based and personalized learning a plus
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in educational settings
- Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for innovation in education
- Valid teaching license and master's degree preferred
- Strong communication and community-building skills
Responsibilities
- Work with Flourish team to engage with the community and recruit your first class of students
- Work with the Flourish team to select a site and modify program/daily schedule to accomodate site constraints
- Build a great school around Flourish's Four Pillars: Relationships, SuperPowers, Passions, and Foundations
Pay range and compensation package
The Fellowship is designed as a part time paid position for 10 hours/week and includes a stipend of $300/week. It converts to a full time position as founding teacher for Fellows who are successful in recruiting their first class.
Lead Teacher offers a competitive base salary commensurate with experience, with substantial earning potential through our performance-based bonus structure. The compensation model is designed to reward exceptional recruitment and retention outcomes, with bonus opportunities that can significantly increase total compensation based on enrollment achievements. Quarterly and annual performance bonuses are tied directly to enrollment milestones, conversion rates, and retention metrics, with accelerators for exceeding targets. Top performers who surpass enrollment goals can expect bonus earnings of 40-60% above base salary, creating a total compensation package that reflects the critical importance of this role to our organization's growth.
