Quality is central to how we operate. Our compounding lab prepares customized medications across a variety of dosage forms, with an emphasis on accuracy, consistency, documentation, cleanliness, and timely service.
We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our compounding lab team.

What You'll Do
As a Compounding Lab Technician, you will work under pharmacist supervision to prepare customized prescription medications according to established formulas, procedures, and quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Compound non-sterile medications according to pharmacist-approved formulas and prescriptions
- Accurately weigh, measure, and prepare ingredients
- Prepare a variety of dosage forms, including capsules, creams, ointments, suspensions, solutions, and suppositories
- Package and label finished preparations appropriately
- Perform and document required quality-control checks
- Maintain complete and accurate compounding records
- Verify and document equipment calibration, scale accuracy, and refrigerator/freezer temperatures
- Monitor inventory of active pharmaceutical ingredients, chemicals, bases, packaging, and other compounding supplies
- Identify low inventory before it results in production delays or stock-outs
- Inspect ingredients and preparations for expiration dates and proper storage
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain compounding equipment and work areas according to established daily, weekly, and monthly schedules
- Follow applicable USP standards, Oklahoma pharmacy regulations, HIPAA requirements, OSHA requirements, and Flourish policies and procedures
- Work closely with pharmacists and fellow technicians to complete prescriptions accurately and on time
- Participate in annual training, SOP reviews, safety training, and continuing professional development

- Accurate preparation according to the approved formula and prescription
- Thorough documentation and quality-control verification
- 98% or greater completion of scheduled compounds within our 24-hour turnaround goal
- 100% completion and documentation of required cleaning schedules
- Proactive inventory management with zero preventable stock-outs of critical ingredients
- Proper maintenance and verification of lab equipment
- Clean, organized workspaces
- On-time completion of required training, SOP reviews, testing, and technician license renewal

Previous pharmacy or compounding experience is preferred. Experience with non-sterile compounding is especially valuable.
Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain the pharmacy technician registration/licensure required to perform this role in Oklahoma.
Physical Requirements
This is an active laboratory position. Candidates must be able to:
- Stand for extended periods during the workday
- Perform repetitive, precise compounding tasks
- Lift and move boxes or supplies weighing up to 30 pounds
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Safely handle pharmaceutical ingredients and compounding equipment according to established procedures
Schedule
This is a full-time, on-site position at our Oklahoma City pharmacy.
Our pharmacy opens at 9:00 a.m., and team members are expected to be present, prepared, and ready to work at the beginning of their scheduled shift.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential to this position.
