What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Support/Pricing Coordinator position at FlorStar Sales Inc.?
FlorStar Sales Inc. is the Midwest’s largest floor covering distributor. Due to our continued growth and success we have an opportunity for a pricing coordinator in our Systems department.
Position Summary:
- Daily Maintenance of Systems Master files, which includes pricing, customer, item, and related files
- Maintain & manage assigned vendor price increases, structure, file backs and reporting
- Handle daily price changes from the sales organization and enforce pricing guidelines
- Maintain and continuously improve our B2B files and information
- Identify opportunities for optimizing profitability through pricing and cost analysis
Qualifications:
- Must be a self-starter who can work independently yet function in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at many levels in the organization, both internal and external.
- Strong data entry, organizational, flexibility and interpersonal skills
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, gross margin and percentages
- Working knowledge of computers and Excel
