Duties
- Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related products, providing expert advice on floral care and garden maintenance
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising products attractively
- Process online orders through e-commerce platforms and coordinate delivery or pickup arrangements
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, floral display areas, design tables, and storage areas.
Experience
- Prior retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in floral or garden centers
- Knowledge of design techniques, horticulture, gardening, lawn care, or landscape maintenance is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with e-commerce platforms is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
