POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Table Operator to join our team in Clarksville, TN, to help us maintain the highest standards of quality, aligning with our mission of creating a positive impact beyond profit. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and distributing material (tile) per Florim specifications and customer requests while maintaining Florim's standard of quality and our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tile manufacturing and a passion for sustainability and quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or floor location according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Records item number and amounts of materials transferred or received from other warehouse locations for storage or distribution.
• Verify items received for distribution from selection to ensure conformance within plant and to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Drives lift truck vehicles to transport stored items from selection to warehouse or to pick items from assigned locations for customer shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and tidy work area.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, complete all safety training and wear required safety equipment as per related safety SOP's.

COMPETENCIES:

• Physical Stamina: Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as standing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
• Critical Thinking: Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, quality control personnel, and production supervisors, to ensure seamless integration of mill operation within the overall manufacturing ecosystem.
• Active Learning: ability to learn and understand new information and apply it to problem solving and decision making.
• Mathematics: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
• Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, varying temperatures, fumes and/or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

12 HOUR SHIFT 6PM-6AM

FORKLIFT REQUIRED

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• On-the-job training is provided. No previous experience is required to perform the job.
