We are a growing commercial printing company seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our operations and drive sustainable business growth.
About the Role
As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our printing operations while taking ownership of financial performance, sales strategy, and team leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality production, operational efficiency, and profitable growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the commercial printing facility, including production scheduling, quality control, and workflow optimization.
- Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for efficiency and profitability.
- Drive sales growth by working closely with the sales team, building client relationships, and implementing strategies to expand our customer base.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality printed materials while maintaining safety and industry compliance standards.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across production, customer service, and support roles.
- Monitor equipment maintenance, inventory, and vendor relationships to support smooth operations.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles where applicable.
Requirements
- Printing industry experience is required (commercial printing, offset, digital, or related production environment).
- College degree, Printing Management, Graphic Arts, or a related field or equivalent proven experience in the printing industry.
- Setting and managing budgets, financial oversight, and achieving growth targets.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of current printing technologies, production processes, and industry best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make data-driven decisions.
