- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems).
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
- Support clinical procedures such as medication administration, wound dressing changes, X-ray preparation, and basic life support (BLS) protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical equipment to uphold safety standards. .
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies while providing compassionate patient care.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for accurate patient assessment and documentation.
- Experience working in outpatient clinics or hospital settings such as emergency departments or inpatient units.
- Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient data entry and record management. .
- Skilled in taking vital signs accurately and performing clinical procedures like medication administration under supervision.
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations across outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols related to Level I & II Trauma Centers is preferred.
