Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated TIG Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise welding operations using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) techniques to create high-quality metal assemblies that meet strict industry standards. Responsibilities
- Execute TIG welding procedures on diverse materials such as aluminum, steel and stainless-steel components following detailed blueprints and schematics.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.
- Measure and inspect materials using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure accurate fit-up before welding.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to construction site operations, crane handling, forklift operation, and use of hand tools.
- Assist in troubleshooting welding issues and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
Experience
- At least intermediate experience in TIG welding with a willingness to learn and improve. Be a fast learner with a good atittude.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, mechanical drawings, and ASME codes & standards.
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
