Cocktail Servers are key in creating a truly great lopunge and bar experience at Vines! Our restaurant is unique and busy, so Cocktail Servers are expected to balance positive guest connections with a vibrant energetic and personable bar & lounge experience. Cocktail Servers are attentive and engaging with guest, with upscale charisma, hospitable personality and an elevated sense of urgency. A Vines Cocktail Servers is knowledgeable about the menu, wines and cocktails. Cocktail Servers pride themselves on flawless execution, exceptional guest service and maintaining our engaging vibrant atmosphere.

Our Cocktail Servers have a passion for people, service, food and guest experience. They are responsible for delivering engaging tailored hospitality with a strong knowledge of Vines products and company. Our Cocktail Servers operate extremely efficiently, providing team-based service and a positive and memorable guest experience. Cocktail Servers must be able to multitask, have an enhanced sence of urgency and provide excellent communication with team members and guests. Teamwork is essential and is what we’re all about at Vines!

General Accountabilities

• Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food.
• Takes customer orders by writing them down or memorizing them.
• Presents orders to the cooks on behalf of the patrons.
• Serves customers their pre-ordered food.
• Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
• Totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to cashier.
• Clears or resets table at the end of each course.
• Thanks patrons and kindly invites them back for future dining.

Job Qualifications

• Must represent Vines Mission, Vision and Values
• At least 21 years of age
• Knowledge of and passion for wine, spirits and beer
• Passion for Guest service!
• Hard-working and a team player
• Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return
• Must demonstrate genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing rapport with the guest and delivering an exceptional dining experience
• A minimum of 2-years experience as a cocktail server in a full-service restaurant or bar lounge environment required
• Demonstrated ability to guide guests through menus while demonstrating thorough knowledge of our food, beverages and ingredients
• Ability to take accurate orders and partnering with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests' expectations
• Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and holidays
• Ability to communicate clearly with Guests, managers and team members
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
