Job Summary
Our Bussers/Food Runners/Barbacks are essential to the success of the Vines team! Our Bussers/Food Runners/Barbacks are in charge of creating a positive experience for each guest by contributing to the set-up and break down of the restaurant.
Responsibilities include: Fully commanding the expo system, handling carryout orders, running food, fulfilling guest requests, basic table services, sanitation and general cleaning of the restaurant, organization and proper food handling. Teamwork is essential and is what we’re all about at Vines! Follows checklists and standard operating procedures for their department. Must maintain a professional appearance at all times. Performs other duties as assigned.
General Accountabilities
- Sets tables with clean table cloths and linens, condiments, utensils, or other supplies.
- Wipes tables or seats with dampened cloths or replaces dirty tablecloths.
- Scrapes and stacks dirty dishes and carries dishes and other tableware to kitchen for cleaning.
- Cleans up spilled food or drinks or broken dishes and removes empty bottles and trash.
- Maintains adequate supplies of items, such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays.
- Serves ice water, coffee, rolls, or butter to guests.
- Fills beverage and ice dispensers.
- Stocks cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refills condiment containers.
- Locates items requested by guests.
- Carries food, dishes, trays, or silverware from kitchens or supply departments to serving counters.
- Serves food to guests when wait staff needs assistance.
- Cleans and polishes counters, shelves, or equipment in food service areas or other areas of restaurant, and mops or vacuums floors.

Job Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of one year of related experience
- Must represent Vines Mission, Vision and Values
- At least 18 years of age
