What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procedure Scheduler position at Florida Medical Pain Management?
We are currently searching for an energetic, highly skilled Procedure Scheduler to join our growing practice. - Full-time Monday through Friday.
Experience in a high volume/multi-provider interventional pain management is a plus
Ideal candidate will be friendly, energetic, reliable, organized, helpful, efficient, and able to multitask and excel in high pressure situations. Top-notch service skills are essential.
Experienced in scheduling diagnostic surgical procedures along with: insurance benefit verification and payer pre-certification/authorization. Ability to successfully explain benefits details and authorization requirements to internal and external customers is required.
Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to:
- Exceptional customer service - Multi-line phone and receptionist duties
- Multi-provider schedule management
- Insurance verification and prior auth knowledge required
- Billing/Data entry support
- Check in /Check out patients collect copays and coinsurance as directed
- Procedure Scheduling and Pro Op notification
- collections of previous outstanding balances when directed
- Scheduling
- Answer incoming telephone calls
- Chart preparation and filling
- Verification of patients insurance eligibility
- Authorizations
- Scanning
Experience:
- Medical Office Procedures: 5 years (Required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
