JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Program Assessment Coordinator
Department: Programs
Reports To: Senior Manager of Programs
Job Type: Exempt
Compensation: $52,000 - 58,000 annually, commensurate with experience
Location: In-Office | Winter Springs, Florida
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Position Summary
The Program Assessment Coordinator supports the daily administration and operations of special assessment programs, including payment processing, reconciliations, reporting, compliance support, recording activities, tax roll coordination, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process assessment payments, refunds, lien releases, and related transactions
- Coordinate payment postings and resolve discrepancies
- Perform banking, trustee, and monthly reconciliation activities
- Prepare servicing, trustee, compliance, audit, and operational reports
- Support tax roll preparation, parcel updates, and annual data validation submissions
- Respond to borrower, stakeholder, and partner inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Regularly review and analyze debt schedules to verify that all underlying calculations are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant financial agreements.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners on program operations and special projects
- Maintain accurate records within internal systems and databases
Key Competencies, Skills, and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focus
- Ability to manage high workloads, meet deadlines, and prioritize competing responsibilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Adaptable and responsive to changing operational priorities and business needs
- Ability to understand and execute detailed written and verbal instructions
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
Demonstrated Abilities
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Salesforce preferred
- Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
