What You’ll Own
As an Outside Sales Representative (Chemical Sales Account Manager), you’ll drive strategic impact by winning new B2B accounts across industrial, municipal, and water treatment markets in the Tampa Bay territory. This role exists to expand our footprint in chemical distribution through disciplined prospecting and fast, accurate quoting.

In the Field
Your day is built around a target list and a self-directed route through Central Florida. You’re on the road early, getting face time with plant managers, purchasing teams, and operations leaders—often at sites that don’t know Florida Chemical Supply yet. Conversations center on what they buy today, what’s not working, and where reliability or delivery has created headaches. Between stops, you’re turning around quotes from your vehicle, following up on last week’s proposals, and moving “next quarter” prospects forward. You end the day updating your pipeline so every objection, commitment, and next step is captured for the next push.

What You’ll Own

This role exists to expand our footprint in chemical distribution through disciplined prospecting and fast, accurate quoting.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and convert a new-business pipeline via cold outreach, field visits, and territory management
- Run discovery, position solutions, negotiate terms, and close while maintaining margin discipline
- Translate customer requirements into timely quotes and coordinate internally to execute
- Maintain clean CRM activity, forecasts, and next-step plans to drive outcomes
- 5–10 years of hunter-style B2B outside sales with consistent new business development results
- Preferred: chemical sales, industrial chemicals, or water treatment chemicals; adjacent industrial sales considered
- Ability to speak to SDS/COA/spec sheets; strong negotiation and closing skills
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and comfort with heavy travel
