Role Description
The Health Plan Consultant (HPC) is a full-time on-site role based in Port St Lucie, FL. The HPC will be responsible for assisting customers with their health plan needs, providing detailed consulting services, and delivering customized solutions. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating and analyzing customer requirements, communicating plan options clearly, resolving service concerns, and aiding in customer education and training on health insurance products. This role works to ensure customer satisfaction and a smooth enrollment process.
Sales Operations
- Deliver exceptional, consultative sales and service experiences to customers seeking information and education on products supporting health, wellness, and income protection.
- Conduct plan comparisons and analyses using web-based tools and sales systems to track and report enrollment support activities and outcomes.
- Promote additional services available to members through center clinicians, self-service features, and value-added information.
- Respond to customer requests, meet or exceed production targets, and generate leads for new sales and member retention, while acting on leads for new health and ancillary sales.
- Execute outbound call campaigns to company-generated sales leads and existing members across Under 65 and Over 65 segments.
- Identify at-risk customers, develop retention strategies, and provide solutions meeting their needs.
- Foster referrals from the existing client base through proactive outreach, relationship building, and delivering a best-in-class experience.
Customer Service
- Provide customer-friendly, solution-oriented service experiences for customers with questions or issues related to healthcare, health insurance, or related topics, collaborating with supporting areas as needed.
- Log all inquiries, capturing required data for reporting and customer understanding.
- Utilize web-based tools, orientations, and aids to facilitate customer self-service, teaching them to effectively manage their healthcare and costs.
- Conduct education workshops on resources and tools for healthcare shopping, management, and more.
- Explain and promote incentive programs, building enthusiasm and support for program participation.
Community Engagement Business Development
- Develop and execute a personal business development plan to support individual and team goals.
- Perform grassroots marketing, networking, and event activation to drive growth and advance the company mission.
- Build relationships with key constituents and organizations to increase community awareness of center services.
- Provide onsite enrollment assistance to individuals.
- Meet monthly targets for community engagement, tracking impact to inform future plans.
Center Operations
- Ensure all customers receive a warm greeting, their needs are assessed quickly, and they are referred to the appropriate setting, person, information, or tools.
- Support special events and projects, such as seminars, appearances, and promotional events.
- Host Customer Video Appointments as necessary.
- Follow standard procedures to track key visitor information, supporting operational analysis and continuous improvement.
