Position: Special Education Teacher - LLD Program (New)

Location: Florence Township Memorial High School

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate: Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped, and appropriate New Jersey instructional certification for the teaching assignment
• Experience working with high school students in an LLD or special class setting preferred
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs, including goals, accommodations, modifications, and progress monitoring
• Ability to use student data to plan and deliver targeted intervention
• Ability to differentiate instruction and provide developmentally appropriate learning activities
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment and work collaboratively with staff and families
• Strong classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills
  
  

Salary: As per the current negotiated contract
