Automated Gate Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automated Gate Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various automation systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer networking, mechanical knowledge, and field service experience. You will work with a variety of systems related to automated gates to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure automation systems .
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems to ensure functionality.
• Collaborate with clients to design system layouts and schematics that meet their needs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation and repair tasks.
• Perform cabling for low voltage systems while adhering to NEC standards.
• Provide field service support for various automation technologies in diverse environments.
• Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies in automation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in computer networking with a solid understanding of remote access software.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Previous experience as a service technician in fields related to automated systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with sensors and construction practices is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics related to electrical systems.
