Job Summary

Floral Studio NJ is looking for an experienced and creative florist to join our boutique floral studio in Lakewood, NJ. We specialize in premium custom arrangements, everyday floral designs, weddings, events, and weekly floral orders.

We are looking for someone with a strong eye for design, good knowledge of fresh flowers, and hands-on experience creating polished, modern floral arrangements. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create custom bouquets, vase arrangements, and other fresh floral designs
• Prepare floral orders for pickup and delivery
• Assist with wedding and event floral preparation when needed
• Process, clean, hydrate, and properly care for incoming flowers
• Maintain flower quality and organize flowers inside the cooler
• Keep the floral work area clean, organized, and well stocked
• Follow design direction while also being able to work independently
• Help prepare orders during busy holidays and high-volume periods
• Assist with general floral studio tasks as needed
• Handle flowers, vases, supplies, and finished arrangements carefully and professionally

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional floral design experience required
• Experience creating bouquets and vase arrangements
• Good knowledge of fresh flowers, proper flower care, and conditioning
• Strong sense of color, proportion, texture, and floral design
• Ability to create clean, polished, high-quality arrangements
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced floral studio environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift floral buckets, boxes, and supplies when needed
• Wedding and event floral experience is a plus

Pay: $23.97 - $28.87 per hour
