About the Job

This is a seated production job. You will be working indoors at a clean, quiet workstation for most of your shift. If you’re used to fast-paced work like food service, warehouse, farming, or manufacturing — and want something cleaner, calmer, and more consistent — this could be a great fit.We’re hiring full-time team members to help produce plants in our micropropagation lab. No lab experience needed — just focus, reliability, and a good work ethic.This is a long-term role with annual raises and real opportunities to grow your skills in a unique and specialized industry.

Pay & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $18.5/hour
• Wage Adjustments: Annual all-inclusive increases (merit cost-of-living)
• Hours: 40–50 hours/week (strong preference for 50 hrs/week)
• Schedule: 8–10 hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• Vacation & Sick Time: 2 weeks paid vacation per year PTO for sick days

• Flexible scheduling available within the workweek
• Note: This is an agricultural position. Compensation is hourly and consistent, including when working up to 50 hours per week.

What You’ll Do

• Produce plants in PhytaCell’s micropropagation lab
• Complete 1,200 plant transfers per day using sterile technique
• Accurately enter data in our digital system
• Maintain an organized and sterile workstation throughout your shift
• Sit for long periods doing fine, repetitive work with high precision
• Follow clear safety and cleanliness protocols
• Notice and report signs of contamination or plant changes
• Collaborate with your team and accept feedback constructively

You’re a Great Fit If You:

• Are 18 years old
• Are legally authorized to work in the United States (this is a requirement)
• Have experience in any of these roles: food service, warehouse, farm, cleaning, packaging, etc.
• Can focus for long periods while seated
• Have basic computer skills for entering simple data
• Are fluent in English or Spanish (reading and basic written communication)
• Can follow structured steps, enjoy precision work, and show up on time

Work Environment

• Clean, temperature-controlled lab (no dirt, dust, or outdoor work)
