What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Attorney position at Flora Pettit PC?
Flora Pettit PC, an AV rated law firm with offices in Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, is seeking an attorney with at least two years of experience in commercial real estate to join the firm’s business practice in its Harrisonburg, Virginia office.
Successful candidates must be licensed to practice in Virginia and have an interest and extensive background in commercial real estate law, including experience drafting and negotiating real estate transactional documents (e.g., leases, lease amendments, purchase and sale agreements, easements, covenants, etc.). Experience with 1031 exchanges, finance, development and/or land use is a plus. Candidates should be able to work on a team with other attorneys and staff, have strong interpersonal skills, and be hard working, energetic and committed to their community.
