Flora Fauna Wellness is growing, and we’re looking for someone special to be the first smiling face people see when they walk through our doors.
We’re an acupuncture and functional medicine clinic in Costa Mesa that helps people with things like gut issues, anxiety, burnout, pain, hormones and blood sugar balance.
Our vibe here is calm, grounded, warm, and a little bit obsessed with nervous system regulation and feeling like a real human again.
The ideal candidate genuinely values health and wellness as part of their lifestyle and believes in helping people feel better physically and mentally.
They love to smile, laugh, and connect with patients, making people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for from the moment they walk in the door. Our goal is to provide patients with the best and most relaxing healthcare experience they have ever had.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- You are a Jack or Jill of all trades who can wear many hats
- You are a multi-tasker extraordinaire, have stellar organization skills, unreasonable optimism, are part air traffic controller, part Harry Potter or Hermione with magic creativity, Jedi-like anticipation, and cat-like reflexes.
- You secretly love a good checklist and well organized spreadsheets.
- You remember small details about people because you actually care.
- You have a “figure it out” attitude, the kind of person who Googles, ChatGPTs, phones a friend, or asks the right teammate instead of getting stuck.
- You are excited by the idea of working in the health and wellness space and naturally enjoy learning about topics like nervous system regulation, nutrition, stress management, movement, gut health, and holistic healing.
- You are comfortable talking to people, building relationships, and confidently making warm outreach calls to potential patients who have already shown interest in our services.
- You are comfortable being on camera occasionally, helping with Instagram Stories/posts/reels, and contributing creative ideas for social media and community engagement.
- You are energized by connecting with people and are comfortable educating patients about services, memberships, products, and next steps in their care without feeling pushy or salesy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will be the patient’s first and last contact, helping create an experience that feels calm, welcoming, and supportive from start to finish.
- Responsibilities include scheduling, answering phones, texting leads and patients, collecting payment, warm outreach calls to prospective patients, social media support and content posting (we can train the right person), product sales, marketing support, and helping the clinic run like a well-oiled, health-dealin' machine.

HOURS SCHEDULE:
- Monday 9-6pm
- Thursday 2-6:30pm
- Saturday 10-2pm
Most shifts are around 4 hours (aside from Mondays)
