Duties
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing campaigns to promote our initiatives and gather community feedback
- Engage with diverse audiences using strong communication skills to inform, motivate, and persuade
- Assist in organizing and executing fundraising events and campaigns to meet organizational goals
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach potential supporters and donors effectively
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, sharing information, and building trust with community members
- Collaborate with team members to develop creative outreach strategies that maximize impact
- Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, supporter interactions, and campaign progress
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience or leadership in community outreach or related fields
- Strong background in marketing, sales, or customer service roles with a focus on community engagement
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse populations
- Experience in door-to-door canvassing, telemarketing, or fundraising is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport quickly
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for advocacy work and community involvement
