Job Description
- Converting qualified leads into clients for our Design and Build services through effective sales strategies and client engagement.
- Understanding client needs, conducting detailed discussions, and presenting tailored proposals to drive closures.
- Managing the entire sales funnel—from lead engagement to final contract signing—with a focus on high conversion rates.
- Collaborating with the design, pre-sales, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of proposals and alignment with client expectation
- Maintaining updated records of sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics on the CRM.
- Ensuring a smooth transition from sales to execution through proper documentation and internal handover.
- Achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets as per business goals.
- Participating in client meetings, site visits, and virtual/in-person presentations as needed.
- Supporting marketing and BD teams with feedback from client interactions to refine messaging and targeting.
- Taking on additional tasks as required to support overall sales and business objectives.
Location: New York
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager located in Manhattan, NY.
Desired Candidate & Skills:
- Requires Bachelor of Business preferred or related
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mind-set
- Construction, real estate industry, design/architectural background preferred
- Strong time management skills and the ability to priorities to meet daily, weekly, and long-term requirements and goals.
- Structured problem solving, detail oriented and customer first attitude.
- Start-up exposure is preferred.
- Must have attention to detail and critically think through and resolve problems.
- Desire to network and align with the vision and mission of the organization
- Experience of dealing with high profile clients like CEOs, CFOs, Founders etc
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
