Senior BIM/VDC Coordinator

We are looking for a Senior BIM/VDC Coordinator whose primary role is to support and assist with Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination throughout all phases of a project in Roseville, Bay Area or San Diego.

• 7 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or BIM/VDC coordination, preferably on design-build or lease-leaseback projects.
• High proficiency in Revit and digital coordination tools such as Revizto, Navisworks and BIM360/ACC.
• Strong understanding of DSA project requirements, approval cycles, and documentation standards.
• Experience working in education, healthcare, or civic markets is preferred.

The major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Assisting in high-level BIM coordination from pursuit through approval phases.
• Supporting project pursuits and helping communicate technical processes to owners when required.
• Collaborating with architects and design teams (internal and external) in selecting consultants with strong BIM capabilities.
• Helping ensure BIM models are properly structured for coordination, estimating, manufacturing, and field deployment.
• Coordinating with Preconstruction, Project Executives, Superintendents, VDC Engineers, and Modelers.
• Running clash detections in Revizto and coordinating model updates with design and construction teams.
• Reviewing and helping manage design deliverables from external teams to ensure they reflect input from logistics, framing, utilities, and other disciplines.
• Supporting the design process from kickoff through coordination submittals.
• Contributing to knowledge sharing and maintaining strong working relationships with design firms.
