Delivery Manager - Telecoms

Location: Reading - three days onsite & two days remote.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager with telecoms expertise to join one of our clients on a contract basis. You will manage cross-functional projects, ensure operational readiness, and drive high-quality delivery across internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of telecom projects.
• Define delivery roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics.
• Manage stakeholders, vendors, SLAs, and governance.
• Provide clear communication on progress, risks, and issues.
• Oversee change management, risk mitigation, and operational handover.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource coordination.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven Delivery Manager experience in telecoms.
• Knowledge of mobile (2G-5G), fibre, fixed networks, or infrastructure delivery.
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience in fast-paced, multi-vendor environments.
• Familiar with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods.
  
  

Desirable

• Experience with RF optimisation, OSS/BSS, or network rollout.
• Certifications: Prince2, PMP, MSP, Agile.
• Experience working with UK telecom operators or service providers.
