What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Education - Science Instructor position at Flint Hills Tech College?
Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a full-time instructor in the General Education - Sciences area beginning in the Fall 2026 semester. This position provides instruction and student assessment in both face-to-face and online settings.
The successful candidate will teach courses in Biology, Chemistry and Physical Science.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in the subject matter field or Masters Degree in any other field with at least 18 credit hours in the subject matter field
- Minimum of two years work experience in the subject matter field or two years of teaching experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Kansas teaching certificate not required
Salary and Benefits:
- 9-month full-time position with your salary paid over 12 months
- Starting salary: $40,000-$54,000, depending on experience and education
