We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food Service Director to lead our dietary operations within a dynamic educational setting. This leadership role involves managing food service teams, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and delivering nutritious, high-quality meals that support the well-being of students and staff alike. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food service operations, including food production, menu planning, and delivery of nutritious meals aligned with dietary guidelines.
• Manage and supervise food service teams, fostering a positive work environment through effective leadership and team management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all health regulation policies, including food safety management and health code adherence.
• Conduct patient assessments related to dietary needs, including tube feeding and clinical nutrition considerations for special populations.
• Develop and oversee care plans that incorporate nutrition strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Monitor budget management, including food costs, staffing expenses, and resource allocation to meet financial targets.
• Maintain accurate records using EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records related to dietary services and patient care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service management within assisted living or healthcare environments.
• Strong knowledge of health regulation policies, food safety standards, and nutrition principles.
• Experience with patient assessment, clinical nutrition, and care plan development.
• Demonstrated ability to manage food production processes while ensuring compliance with health codes.
• Supervisory experience leading food service teams in dietary or clinical settings.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation of care plans and nutritional assessments.
• Excellent leadership skills complemented by effective communication abilities.
• Knowledge of physiology related to nutrition and acute care experience is highly desirable.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
