Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Dining Services, located in San Juan Capistrano, CA. The Director will oversee all aspects of food service operations, ensuring quality standards in food preparation, presentation, and delivery. Responsibilities include managing budgets, P&L oversight, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, coordinating with staff, and developing innovative menus and initiatives to enhance the dining experience. Leadership, staff training, and fostering community engagement are key elements of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Food Service Operations and Food Service management
- Hands-on experience in Food Preparation and Food & Beverage standards
- Demonstrated skills in P&L Management and cost controls
- Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
- Ability to create a positive dining experience for all stakeholders
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience working in institutional or education-based food service is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred
