Position Summary
FlightWave Aerospace is seeking a professional and highly organized Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and partners entering our facility.
This role is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional front lobby environment while supporting administrative operations, visitor security procedures, and internal coordination across departments.
The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a polished and professional presence.
This position is in-person, based at the FlightWave facility in Torrence, California.

This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check. Qualified candidates with a criminal history will be considered and are not automatically disqualified, consistent with federal and state law.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Front Desk & Visitor Management
- Greet and welcome visitors, customers, vendors, and partners in a professional manner
- Manage the front desk and lobby area to ensure a clean, organized, and secure environment
- Coordinate visitor check-in procedures including badges, NDAs, and security protocols
- Notify internal staff of arriving guests and coordinate meeting room logistics
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with company security procedures
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage general company inboxes or inquiries as assigned
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
- Coordinate courier shipments and outbound deliveries
- Assist with conference room scheduling and preparation
- Provide general administrative support to leadership and departments
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Assist with travel coordination and calendar scheduling as needed
- Support internal events, employee onboarding logistics, and company meetings
- Maintain organized filing systems and documentation
- Help maintain a professional and welcoming office environment
- Coordinate with facilities vendors when needed
- Assist with basic office operational needs and employee requests
- 2 years experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Experience working in a manufacturing, aerospace, or technology environment
- Experience with visitor security protocols or badge systems
- Experience supporting executives or leadership teams
- Ability to sit or stand at a front desk for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift packages up to 20 lbs
