About the Role The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with waste or transportation industry experience who thrives in a fast-paced, route-based environment. You’ll oversee daily hauling operations, manage a team of drivers and helpers, and take direct ownership of safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who leads from the front and knows how to keep trucks rolling and customers happy.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage all hauling personnel including drivers and helpers
- Direct daily collection and disposal operations to maximize efficiency of personnel and equipment
- Monitor route completion, container delivery, and resolution of missed or special stops
- Ensure proper completion of truck reports, driver logs, and vehicle inspections
- Establish and review productivity standards across all phases of the hauling operation
- Address customer complaints and resolve service issues promptly
- Promote a strong safety culture - conduct monthly safety meetings, investigate incidents, complete route observations, and ensure proper use of PPE
- Ensure CDL driver compliance with all DOT and regulatory requirements
- Maintain supply inventory (safety equipment, PPE, hydration, etc.) with GM authorization
- Enter daily operational productivity data into the company’s operating system
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior experience in the waste industry or transportation industry required
- Truck driving experience strongly preferred
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience

Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
