Join PrimeFlight and play a critical role in getting aircraft safely off the ground in all weather conditions. In this operations role, you’ll support airline partners and their passengers by preparing aircraft for departure and maintaining a safe, efficient ramp environment.
Compensation$15.25/hr.
Shifts- 8:00AM-4:30PM
- 4:00PM-12:30AM
- 12:00AM-8:30AM
You arrive on shift, check in with the dispatcher over your headset, and review the flight lineup. As aircraft taxi into position, you perform leading-edge ice and frost checks. You position and operate large, heavy deicing vehicles around aircraft, applying Type I and Type IV deicing fluids precisely to wings, fuselage, and tail. Between turns, you complete daily quality control inspections on trucks and equipment, and you accurately record deicing fluid transactions for accounting and audit purposes. Throughout the shift, you follow stringent safety procedures, communicate constantly over radio, and uphold PrimeFlight’s customer service and safety standards. You wrap by securing equipment, documenting final usage, and preparing for the next day’s operations—ready to assist with any other duties assigned.
What you’ll do- Inspect aircraft for leading-edge ice and frost prior to treatment
- Apply Type I and Type IV deicing fluids to wings, fuselage, and tail surfaces
- Maneuver and operate large deicing trucks safely around aircraft during active operations
- Use headset/radio to maintain clear communication with the dispatcher
- Record deicing fluid usage and transactions with accuracy for account purposes
- Conduct daily quality control checks on vehicles and equipment
- Comply with all safety standards and procedures at all times
- Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at the job location
- Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
- Carry out other duties as assigned
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Eligible to work in the United States
