What You'll Do
Account Management & Customer Retention
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of approximately 500-700 commercial customer accounts
- Develop strong relationships with customers to drive retention, satisfaction, and long-term revenue growth
- Conduct regular customer outreach and account reviews to understand needs and proactively address concerns
- Manage contract renewals, pricing discussions, service upgrades, and customer retention initiatives
- Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within existing accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer questions, concerns, and service-related issues
- Partner closely with Operations and Customer Service teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring service expectations are met and exceeded
- Build trust and credibility through consistent follow-up, responsiveness, and execution
- Identify opportunities to increase market share within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling solutions
- Support targeted new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and relationship development
- Assist with pricing initiatives while balancing customer retention and profitability goals
- Maintain awareness of market trends and competitive activity to support growth strategies
- Maintain accurate customer records, account activity, and pipeline information within Salesforce
- Track customer interactions, contract renewals, service changes, and retention activities
- Prepare proposals, service agreements, and customer communications as needed
- Ensure timely follow-up and execution on all customer commitment
- 2 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Business Development, Sales, or Customer Retention
- Experience managing a large portfolio of customer accounts preferred
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Proven ability to resolve customer concerns while maintaining positive relationships
- Experience working within a CRM platform (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated with excellent follow-through and accountability
