Position Overview
The Packaging Sales Consultant Intern program is a six-month, hands-on learning experience for individuals interested in a career in sales and business development within the packaging industry. During the program, you will work closely with experienced Packaging Sales Consultants and leadership to learn how to identify opportunities, build relationships, and deliver tailored packaging solutions that drive customer success.
High-performing interns may be considered for extension or transition into a full-time Packaging Sales Consultant role at the end of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Shadow sales calls and client meetings to learn consultative selling techniques.
- Research and qualify potential leads in assigned territories.
- Make cold calls to potential customers and set up meetings for sales opportunities.
- Assist with creating customer presentations, proposals, and product sample kits.
- Support market research efforts, including competitor analysis and trend identification.
- Track and document sales activities in CRM or reporting tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute ideas to improve customer engagement and business development strategies.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support sales initiatives and team objectives.
