Banquet Line Cook

(Baton Rouge, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Kitchen Cook to join a fast-paced culinary environment. The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple kitchen stations and the ability to support both line cooking and short order preparation while contributing to a collaborative team setting.

Essential Duties:
• Prepare and cook food items across all kitchen stations in a timely and efficient manner
• Execute catering orders and assist with event food preparation as needed
• Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency and quality of dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety standards
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during high-volume service
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements/Skills:
• Culinary education preferred or equivalent hands-on kitchen experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Experience with line cooking and short order preparation
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in teams of up to 10 members
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
• Capable of understanding and executing verbal and written instructions

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment
• Manual dexterity for handling kitchen tools and equipment
