Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Engineer role based in Port Murray, NJ The Engineer will participate in the design, development, and testing of microwave and RF components and related electronic products. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing technical drawings and specifications, performing calculations and simulations, assembling and evaluating prototypes, and troubleshooting performance issues. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams on manufacturing processes, supporting quality assurance activities, and documenting designs, test procedures, and results. The Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes and provide technical support for production and customer inquiries.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in electrical or electronics engineering, including electrical/mechanical operations & design, RF/microwave principles, and signal integrity.
- Proficiency with engineering design and analysis tools (e.g., CAD for schematics/layout, simulation software, basic lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and network analyzers).
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting electronic hardware in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, create clear engineering reports, and maintain accurate records of designs and test results.
- Effective collaboration skills, including working in small teams, communicating technical concepts clearly, and coordinating with production and quality staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in microwave, RF, or electronics manufacturing environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety and quality, and willingness to learn and adapt in a hands-on setting.
Pay: From $75,449.90 per year
