What are the responsibilities and job description for the Microscopic MIG Welding position at Flexaseal Engineered Seals and Systems, LLC?
Flexaseal Engineered Seals and Systems, LLC is a worldwide systems and mechanical seal manufacturer with facilities in Vermont, Washington, New York, Louisiana, Texas and Brazil. After 40 years, Flexaseal is continuing to grow with sales agents and distributors servicing over 50 countries.
We are currently seeking Welding Technicians to join our Vermont team!
Flexaseal's edge-welded bellows are completely manufactured at our Vermont factory. The welding department and engineering staff work closely together to control the manufacturing quality of all bellows assemblies, from stamping sheets of foil stock through welding cores and end fittings, evaluating spring rates, and pressure testing the completed assembly.
Responsibilites:
- Using the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding process
- Stamping foil sheets
- Quality control inspections
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be able to sit for 8 hours a day
- perform microscopic welds using a microscope
- Complete moderate lifting of materials
- Must have basic math skills
- Ability to match parts
- A high degree of professionalism
- Attention to detail and the ability to work on cross-functional teams, in a high paced environment
Experience with micro welding is preferred.
