To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Mechanical Design/CAD Engineering Co-Op located in our Libertyville, IL site.
Reporting to Process & Automation Engineering Team, the Intern will support mechanical design, equipment layouts, and tooling integration activities while collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

Reporting to Process & Automation Engineering Team, the Intern will support mechanical design, equipment layouts, and tooling integration activities while collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develop 3D models and drawings (fixtures, brackets, EOAT)
- Support equipment layout planning
- Assist with tolerance stack analysis
- Participate in DFM reviews
- Maintain engineering documentation and revision control
- Attend team meetings to support project work as needed
- Junior/Senior student pursuing Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering major
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor
- Ability to create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings
- Basic knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles
- Familiarity with equipment layout planning and mechanical integration
- Understanding of revision control and engineering documentation
- Previous manufacturing floor internship experience a plus!
- Ability to work 40 hours/week (in person) during the co-op assignment
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
