To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Mechanical Design/CAD Engineering Co-Op located in our Libertyville, IL site.

Reporting to Process & Automation Engineering Team, the Intern will support mechanical design, equipment layouts, and tooling integration activities while collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop 3D models and drawings (fixtures, brackets, EOAT)
• Support equipment layout planning
• Assist with tolerance stack analysis
• Participate in DFM reviews
• Maintain engineering documentation and revision control
• Attend team meetings to support project work as needed
  
  

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

• Junior/Senior student pursuing Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering major
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor
• Ability to create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings
• Basic knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles
• Familiarity with equipment layout planning and mechanical integration
• Understanding of revision control and engineering documentation
• Previous manufacturing floor internship experience a plus!
  
  

Co-Op Program Requirements:

• Ability to work 40 hours/week (in person) during the co-op assignment
• Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
• 3.0 GPA
