What a typical day looks like:
- Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
- Perform hand set-ups for digital tests.
- Recognize failures and set-up problems and determine need for appropriate verification.
- Record required information on all repairs and publication discrepancies.
- Operate programmable auto-testers, samplers, real-time oscilloscopes, pulse generators, meters, power supplies, and special test fixtures.
- Participates in meetings, workshops, trainings, and seminars, as assigned for conveying and gathering information required to perform job functions.
- Maintains awareness of emerging and Flex-related technologies and techniques.
- Applies functional and process knowledge appropriate to the role, participating in and, when appropriate, leading processes.
- Demonstrates technical proficiency commensurate with experience level.
- Prepare reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
- Effectively presents information and responds to questions from managers and customers.
- Contributes with moderate impact and may influence multiple programs or functional areas.
- Exercises judgment within defined work assignments, with limited decision-making beyond immediate responsibilities.
- Performs routine tasks with general guidance and new assignments with detailed direction, typically under close supervision.
