Reporting to the Hardware Manager the Electrical Engineer is responsible for assisting with the electrical design, development, and calculations of assigned manufacturing projects related to relay panels, control buildings, and medium voltage switchgears.

Reporting to the Hardware Manager the Electrical Engineer is responsible for assisting with the electrical design, development, and calculations of assigned manufacturing projects related to relay panels, control buildings, and medium voltage switchgears.
What a typical day looks like:
- Participate in development, engineering, design, and drafting of manufacturing projects related to control buildings, relay panels, and switchgear.
- Assist in generating schematics and wiring drawings, as well as performing equipment selection for manufacturing projects.
- Assist in developing bill of materials for manufacturing projects.
- Provide engineering support to production departments during all stages of manufacturing.
- Perform analysis and generate reports, as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in Power Systems required.
- At least 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of standard electrical testing and measuring equipment.
- General understanding of Electrical Safety Procedures, NEC and IEEE Codes.
- Experience and knowledge with computers and MS office programs.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD or related software.
