What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wiring Harness Assembler position at Flex-Tec?
Flex-Tec Inc. is a significant assembler of wiring harnesses for major industries. We are located in Byromville, Georgia. The company has been in operation since 1985. Flex-Tec is recruiting entry level and above production employees. Experience with wiring, electrical diagrams, or wiring harnesses is a plus. The Company provides training in quality wiring production (ISO-9001) and wiring certification.
About the job:

Do you enjoy working as part of a team striving for a common goal? We are looking for team members to assemble harnesses and run machinery that are capable and consistent. We work in a factory environment on our feet from 8:00AM – 4:30PM Mon- Friday with two paid breaks and one unpaid 30 min lunch. Protective eyeware and close toe and close heeled shoes are required to be worn at all times.
Required abilities include:
The ability to read and write
The ability to follow written and verbal instruction
The ability to see in color
Reliable transportation
Preferred qualities include:
The ability to assemble wiring harnesses according to specifications with 100% compliance
Experience with wiring harnesses, machines, factory work etc… or the ability to be a self-starter/ work independently after training
Good verbal & written skills and emotional intelligence
The ability to learn how to read a tape measure
The ability to do simple math
Responsibilities:
Assemble wiring harnesses according to specifications with 100% compliance
Completing production logs and hourly inspections
Job Involves:
Standing and sitting during the shift
Meeting and/or exceeding the production rate
