What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Assistant position at Flex-Staff?

Seeking reliable and motivated individuals working on the manufacturing floor operating a robot and/or machinery, assembling, inspect, and package products according to company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Loading machines and/or robots by feeding product and pushing the start button
- Monitor machines
- Stack product onto pallets for shipment
- Filling out written production reports and sorting products
- May need to use a heat gun to remove labeling off boxes
- Sorting recycled goods by color, size and shape, and then putting them into large boxes
- Checking for quality defects
- Other duties as assigned
General Information:
Hours: 6:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Thursday, and Fridays as needed for OT.
Length: Longer Term.
Pay: $17.50/hr.
Location: Appleton
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must understand and utilize basic math skills including measurements
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Dependable, reliable, and have a positive attitude in the work environment
- Must be able to stand throughout the shift, along with bending, twisting, rotating and kneeling
- The employee must constantly lift up to fifteen (15) pounds, occasionally lift up to thirty (30) pounds
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
