Fleurissimo NYC is located on Madison Avenue in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. We specialize in fresh floral arrangements, luxury weddings, and special events.

We are looking for friendly, reliable, hardworking, and experienced Part-Time Florists to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Design and create beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets for daily retail orders, walk-in customers, and special occasions.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with floral selections and purchases.
• Process, clean, condition, and maintain fresh flowers and plants.
• Keep the flower shop clean, organized, and beautifully presented.
• Receive flower deliveries, unpack supplies, and lift and move heavy flower buckets and boxes.
• Assist with wedding and event floral preparation, delivery, installation, and breakdown as needed.
• Support daily store operations and work collaboratively with the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience working in a professional flower shop.
• Strong floral design skills and knowledge of fresh flower care.
• Previous retail experience with excellent customer service skills.
• Friendly, positive, easygoing personality and a team-oriented attitude.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and hardworking.
• Comfortable working independently when needed.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to accept additional hours on short notice when unexpected orders or special events arise.

Work Schedule & Flexibility

This is a part-time position with variable weekly hours.

As a retail flower shop and event floral studio, our workload changes depending on daily orders, weddings, holidays, and special events.

We are looking for someone who:

• Understands that weekly working hours may vary.
• Is comfortable with an irregular schedule and fluctuating workloads.
• Is willing to pick up additional shifts or extend working hours on short notice when available.
• Can work during busy floral holidays, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and other peak seasons.
• Enjoys working in a creative, fast-paced, and sometimes physically demanding environment.
