Job Description

About the Role

FleishmanHillard is seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President to lead and grow our consumer brand portfolio, serving as strategic counsel and account leader for major, high-profile premium consumer brands. This leader will drive integrated brand impact strategies, build and mentor high-performing teams, and deliver measurable business outcomes for sophisticated, fast-moving brands.

The ideal candidate is a strategic business leader with experience in premium consumer segments (travel, dining, lifestyle, and/or personal finance), exceptional client and stakeholder relationships, and the energy to thrive in a dynamic, complex environment.

What You'll Do

Lead Strategic Counsel & Account Management

Serve as strategic partner and account lead for major premium consumer brand clients, providing senior-level counsel on brand positioning, communications strategy, and market opportunities.

Develop and oversee integrated communications strategies that span earned media, influencer partnerships, content, social, experiential, and digital channels.

Develop programming that drives measurable business outcomes – brand equity, market share, customer acquisition, share of voice, and cultural relevance.

Navigate complex stakeholder environments, managing internal teams, client leadership, and cross-agency partners with strategic clarity and executive presence.

Build & Lead High-Performing Teams

Manage and develop teams across multiple workstreams; set standards for excellence, innovation, and client service.

Ensure staffing alignment, workload balance, quality delivery, and career development across accounts.

Inspire teams through clear vision, strategic direction, and commitment to measurable impact.

Champion a culture of collaboration, curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning.

Drive Integrated Campaign Development & Execution

Conceptualize and oversee breakthrough campaigns that integrate earned, influencer, social, content, and paid channels into cohesive, culturally resonant programs.

Lead program planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and quality assurance to deliver on client objectives and timelines.

Identify emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and cultural moments to keep clients ahead of the curve – particularly within premium segments where aspirational positioning meets broad consumer appeal.

Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with influencer, strategy, content, paid, analytics, and creative teams to deliver insight-driven, integrated programs.

Collaborate with client teams and other agency partners to align on strategy, execution, and measurement.

Champion best practices and breakthrough thinking across the agency.

What You Bring

15 years of consumer brand experience in senior account leadership roles at a leading PR or communications agency, ideally with premium segment clients.

Deep expertise in consumer strategy, positioning, and integrated communications program development – with strong understanding of premium consumer values, aspirations, and behaviors.

Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex teams and manage multiple high-profile client relationships simultaneously.

Exceptional strategic thinking, business acumen, and executive presence with C-level clients.

Strong command of cultural insights, consumer trends, pop culture, and the evolving media and consumer landscape—particularly as it relates to premium segments.

Genuine passion for pop culture, dining, travel, lifestyle, and consumer behavior—with ability to translate that into compelling brand strategies for discerning, trend-conscious audiences.

Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic, complex environments and lead through change.

Exceptional written and verbal communication; strong storytelling and editorial judgment.

A track record of building and retaining high-performing teams; proven commitment to mentorship and career development.
