This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment installations to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our facility and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment installations to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our facility and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance to prevent equipment failures and extend machinery lifespan.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other system malfunctions; perform timely repairs to restore operations.
- Equipment Installation and Setup: Install new machinery and ensure all equipment is set up correctly and operates according to manufacturer specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures; ensure equipment and facility compliance with OSHA and other safety standards.
- Facility Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work to maintain a safe and operational facility.
- Record Keeping: Accurately document maintenance and repair work, inspections, and equipment performance in CMMS or designated logs.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify issues and determine effective solutions.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
- Attention to Detail: Precision and care in performing maintenance and recording work.
- Communication: Clear and professional interaction with team members and supervisors.
- Physical Stamina: Able to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks in various conditions.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications or completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus.
- 2 years of experience in a maintenance or technician role is preferred.
Work Environment:
This position requires working in manufacturing or industrial environments, which may include exposure to loud noises, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
