What You'll Do

At Fleet XL, no two days are the same. Our technicians work on customer owned equipment as well as one of the region's largest lease and rental trailer fleets.

You'll gain experience performing repairs and maintenance on:

• Brakes, wheel ends, wheel seals, and suspension systems
• Tires, tire repairs, and tire replacements
• Trailer lighting, wiring, ABS systems, and electrical diagnostics
• Air systems and trailer troubleshooting
• Landing gear and structural trailer repairs
• Roof repairs, side panel replacements, doors, and floors
• DOT inspections and preventative maintenance
• Mobile service repairs using our fleet of service trucks

From simple repairs to major rebuilds, you'll have the opportunity to learn every aspect of trailer maintenance and repair.

What We're Looking For

• Mechanical experience and familiarity with basic hand and power tools
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pride in producing quality work
• Valid driver's license
• CDL is a plus, but not required
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus, but not required
