Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing billing, tracking incoming payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Generate and send customer invoices in a timely manner
- Post and reconcile incoming payments (checks, ACH, credit cards)
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up on collections
- Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing
- Prepare reports on accounts receivable status and aging
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and account management
Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting
- Highschool GED or Bachelors in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or other similar fields
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (REQUIRED)
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a MAJOR plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (9AM TO 5PM) ONLY. Weekends off.
