Fleet Solutions Truck Repair is looking for a skilled Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our shop team.
This position is based in our Arnold, MO shop and focuses on preventive maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs for commercial trucks, vans, and fleet vehicles. We're looking for someone who can work efficiently, stay organized, and take pride in producing quality work.
This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working independently on routine maintenance and mechanical repairs while contributing to a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance services
- Complete brake inspections and brake repairs
- Perform steering and suspension repairs
- Tire replacement, rotations, balancing, and alignments
- Diagnose common mechanical concerns
- Complete DOT inspections
- Perform cooling, charging, and starting system repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete repair orders accurately
- Work with the team to keep repairs moving efficiently
Requirements
- 3 years of professional automotive, fleet, or diesel repair experience preferred
- Ability to perform maintenance and mechanical repairs with minimal supervision
- Experience with brakes, steering, suspension, alignments, and preventive maintenance
- Valid driver's license
- Own basic hand tools
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on commercial trucks, vans, or fleet vehicles
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required
