Position SummaryFleet Owl is seeking an experienced Logistics Software Sales Manager to build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on selling transportation management software, fleet management solutions, and related technology products to carriers, brokers, and logistics providers.
This role is ideal for a sales leader with SaaS, logistics technology, transportation, freight, fleet management, or supply chain software experience who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop Account Executives, SDRs, and sales representatives
- Drive new business revenue through outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, and strategic partnerships
- Develop and execute sales strategies targeting trucking companies, freight brokers, carriers, and logistics providers
- Establish sales processes, KPIs, forecasting, and pipeline management standards
- Conduct ride-alongs, call reviews, and ongoing sales training
- Collaborate with marketing to improve lead generation and conversion rates
- Partner with leadership on pricing, packaging, and go-to-market initiatives
- Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM data
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging transportation technology solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle for strategic and enterprise opportunities
- 5 years of B2B sales experience
- 2 years of sales leadership or sales management experience
- Experience selling SaaS, TMS, fleet management software, telematics, logistics technology, supply chain software, or transportation solutions preferred
- Proven history of exceeding revenue targets
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
- Experience managing CRM systems and sales pipelines
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a startup or high-growth environment
