Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics on heavy-duty diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems using automotive diagnostics tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, air brake inspections, and suspension checks to keep vehicles operating at peak efficiency.
• Repair and replace mechanical components including shocks & struts, brakes, HVAC systems, and RV electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to execute repairs with precision.
• Troubleshoot basic vehicle issues and perform complex repairs involving electrical repair, automotive electrical systems, and plumbing system maintenance for RVs.
• Conduct alignment and suspension adjustments to ensure vehicle safety and performance standards are met.
• Assist with assembly, equipment repair, and heavy lifting tasks as needed to support overall fleet maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with heavy-duty diesel trucks or similar vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience, including RV electrical system diagnostics and automotive electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, brake repair, transmission work, shocks & struts replacement, and HVAC systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and basic vehicle troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, alignment adjustments, suspension repairs, and plumbing system repairs for RVs.
• Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems (including RV plumbing), auto body repair, equipment repair, and general mechanical repairs is a plus.
